Surtr, The Birghtest Of the Fire Giants - From Viking Harald: Idle Adventures Game

Surtr is the main villain in Viking Harald: Idle Adventures. I was responsible for designing the concept art and backstory, creating the 3D model, and taking the dialogue shots.

The model was made in ZBrush, then transfered to character creator for rig and posing, and in the end moved to KeyShot for final renders.

The character is mainly inspired by Megamind. Surtr was foretold to be the brightest of the fire giants. Although the prophecy meant literally the giant who glowed brightest, Surtr interpreted that he is the most intellectual of the giants. He believes he is destined to destroy Asgard, but deep inside he questions his purpose, after all he actually likes Asgard, even his clothes are Asgardian leather. Being too coward to follow his doubts, by destroying Viking villages he relentlessly tries to prove he is the fire giant who will one day destroy Asgard. Our story begins by Surtr destroying Viking Harald's village and humiliating him.
